Pricing

All plans include 10 users. Each additional user is $1/month.

Rescue/Shelter tiers (based on average active animals):

  • Small: $10/month (up to 100 animals)
  • Medium: $15/month (101–250 animals)
  • Large: $20/month (251+ animals)

Vets, Zoos, and Other Facilities: $20/month (unlimited animals)

Annual deal: Pay for 10 months, get 2 months free (12 months total).

Who is Health Connect for?
Health Connect works for pet parents and multi-animal facilities: rescues/shelters, zoos, breeders, pet stores, foster networks, and service providers (vets, groomers, trainers, transport). Dashboards and permissions adapt to the role you choose.

What makes Health Connect stand out?

How do you approach HIPAA/privacy?
HIPAA applies to certain “covered entities” and their “business associates” when handling human protected health information (PHI). Health Connect is designed for animal/pet records. We still build HIPAA-aligned privacy features (role-based access, least-privilege sharing, audit-friendly workflows), but overall compliance depends on your hosting, configuration, policies, and how you use the system. If you plan to store human PHI, consult compliance counsel and contact us about requirements such as a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

How does privacy work with vets/services?
Privacy is blocked by default. A provider can create an appointment (or view a pet’s shared details) only when the owner shares a code.

Can a provider reach out to an owner?
Yes — only when the owner opts in by sending a service request (Find a Provider) or sharing contact info.

Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in your organization’s Health Connect system (database + file storage). Administrators control access, backups, and retention.

Do customers/users get admin access?
No. End users use the portal pages. Only designated administrators can access system settings.

Where are documents stored?
Documents are attached to each pet’s profile (e.g., vaccines, lab results). Upload/view/print from the pet profile page.

How is pricing decided?
Plans are based on active animals only (Small ≤ 100, Medium ≤ 250; larger facilities above that). Each plan includes up to 10 users, with $1/month per additional user. Annual deal: pay for 10 months, get 2 free.

Does demo mode affect real users?
No. Demo accounts are sandbox-only. Refresh/reset is isolated and does not touch real user data.

What security steps should I take?
Use HTTPS/SSL, strong passwords (and 2FA), keep the platform and its components updated, limit admin accounts, and secure backups. Your hosting configuration is a key part of security.
